Inspired by Karl Blossfeldt’s chile nettle seed, Aurora is a kinetic light wall designed to follow users as they walk along side it. Consisting of wood louvers, the kinetic wall opens up at various angles based off the position of the user. It accomplishes this through the help of cameras, LEDs, motors, and mechanical systems, Aurora not only provides light for passersby, but also a gives a visual and interactive experience.
